Brett & Gareth were crowned Best in Class winners for the 2024 Tilda Chef Team of the Year competition 2024, in association with the Craft Guild of Chefs, for two innovative dishes making use of products that are often seen as food waste.

Chef Brett & Gareth’s specialities reflect a deep respect for culinary traditions while embracing modern influences. From Mediterranean-fusion cuisine that celebrates vibrant flavours and textures, to American barbecue that pays homage to rustic, slow-cooked goodness, and British classics reimagined with elegance and flair. Mentorship, Legacy & Education

A cornerstone of Brett’s career in particular has been his commitment to mentorship. Having benefited from the guidance of seasoned chefs early in their journey, Brett is passionate about giving back to the culinary community. By fostering the next generation of chefs, Brett ensures that their legacy of excellence, innovation, and sustainability continues to thrive.

From training apprentices to leading teams in high-pressure environments, Brett has cultivated a reputation as a supportive and inspiring mentor. Their ability to nurture talent while maintaining the highest standards has made them a respected figure in kitchens around the world.

Gareth is also passionate about mentoring as an advocate of mental health support in the industry, he is an Ambassador of the Burnt Chef Project which is a non-profit social enterprise setup which raises awareness, and provides education around mental health issues within hospitality across the world.
